General Public Construction Training

Construction Craft Academy was established to provide men and women outstanding opportunities to achieve individual goals through rewarding construction careers. By setting higher standards in craft-specific curricula and “real world” laboratory training, and by committing to individual-focused education by dynamic instructors, the Academy will meet its critical goal of graduating exceptional craftsmen prepared to immediately add value on the jobsite, capable of performing their crafts with a higher level of skill, safety and work ethic.

We use the nation’s most widely practiced, nationally accredited curriculum for construction training – National Center for Construction Education and Research’s (NCCER) Contren Learning Series – and have enhanced it with more in-depth training related to skill development, personal and business etiquette and safety awareness. The construction training curriculum is presented in an accelerated fashion enabling students to gain all the Department of Labor’s classroom and laboratory requirements – to ultimately achieve journey-level status – in a fraction of the time of other apprenticeship-style programs.
