A Dedicated Tradesmen Employee Since 2011
Please join us in saying congratulations to this Month’s Employee Spotlight Nominee Jeff Blume, a project coordinator out of our Tacoma, WA office.
Jeff began his career with Tradesmen in 2011 as one of our skilled carpenters working through our Seattle office, before relocating to Tacoma 3 years later. He loved the challenge and the physical work aspect of the trade and that it brought something new and different every day. As a carpenter he liked seeing the fruits of the labor. We asked Jeff if there was a particular job he enjoyed and he told us he worked in Yelm, WA building a house on a cliffside that was roughly 1,000 feet up. He thought going to that job every day was pretty neat!
The Perfect Fit for the Job
When he relocated to Tacoma, we brought him on right away as our Project Coordinator because we knew he was the ideal person for job, we knew he would succeed! He loves the challenge this position brings him every day and enjoys meeting new people on a daily basis. He’s a very personable guy and finding substantial security for our field employees by providing jobs, great pay, and vacation and health benefits is what he enjoys the most.
When it comes to working for Tradesmen International, he believes in the concept and services that can be provided to both the clients and employees. In addition to his office work, he goes out at least once a week in the field visiting our employees making sure they have their PPE, extra time cards and to ensure safety is on their minds at all times. Jeff has gone as far as to help a couple of clients in need when we did not have an employee available on such short notice. He’s helped move desks from one office space to another and for another client he helped clean his yacht and prepped it for moving. Things like that is what makes him love his job and he mentioned he appreciates how Tradesmen has provided him job security in order to provide for him, his wife and their 7 month old boy.
As far as we can tell Jeff is a standup guy and employee of Tradesmen International! Congratulations Jeff on your showcase!
