Contest Info:

The contest requires anyone in your life – your spouse, parent, child, nephew, neighbor, etc. – to write a simple one or two sentence essay as to "Why you're #1 to them and why your safety is important to them." You can then take a photo of them gesturing #1 with their hand while doing something silly, looking cute, hugging you or doing whatever they want to do... as long as they’re gesturing #1 with their hand. Tradesmen employees can even submit an entry themselves explaining who – or what, i.e. dog, – you are safe for and why safety is your priority. Simply click Enter Now! to get going.

Prizes Include:

Trips to Disney World* including air fare and hotel accommodations. Other prizes include Visa Gift Cards, Home Safety Packs, $100 Gas Cards and more! Winners will be selected based on the content of their essay and the photo submitted. Be creative, sincere, clever, emotional, etc.!   1. Write a "You're #1" essay
    Submit an original short essay (100 words or less) that tells why our Tradesmen International employee is #1 in your eyes... why they're so important, so loved, so admired. (Like the one on the right.) It can be written by a spouse, a child, a friend... as long as it's from the heart.

    Requirements: The essay can be fun, serious, heart-warming, simple or poetic. No more than 100 words, please. Typed/printed submissions preferred, legible handwriting will be accepted.

  2. Take a "You're #1" photo
    Submit a photo featuring someone making the "#1" gesture with their hands. It can be our employee, the whole family, the kids, a neighbor or friend, the softball team... just so they're showing that "#1" hand gesture.

    Requirements: Photos must include "#1" hand gesture. The Tradesmen International employee does not have to be shown. Digital photos preferred, conventional prints will be accepted. Only one photo per employee entry, please.
