When we receive an order for specific trades for a project, our reps first outline the trade specifications for our local general manager and recruiter, as well as the national recruiting center supervisors, who assemble a project-dedicated recruitment team. The local recruiter then immediately contacts all available craftsmen in the area who meet the client’s specifications (i.e., skill level, safety certifications, security clearances, etc.). Depending on the size of the project, a comprehensive trade requisition is also transmitted to more than 225 veteran recruiters and Tradesmen’s nearly 200 recruitment and operations facilities. Together, they operate as a powerful recruitment engine, working in unison to fulfill the project’s specific workforce requirements.
Our local and national recruiters source through one of the country’s largest databases of field-tested local and travel-dedicated craft employees. That database consists of more than 450,000 craft professionals nationally. Next, all candidates who meet the client’s qualifications undergo a stringent, project-specific screening. Upon successful final vetting, our employees are mobilized to the jobsite, where a Tradesmen field rep ensures that all paperwork and credentialing is in order, and that our craftsmen are scheduled for any necessary site-specific safety training and skill testing.
Throughout the project, our local field rep maintains consistent communication with client site management, ensuring we stand prepared to reposition our crews to other areas of the project or to mobilize additional trades as needed.
