Networking with contractors. The stronger the network the more recognition and word of mouth referrals to generate sales. Second would be supporting FE’s with gifts to keep our workforce satisfied.

With wages growing, what do you do to yield greater bill-out rates and margins?

Educating the client of the current market and all that is included with the Tradesmen business partnership model. Not just the FE’s showing up on the site. Building value in our entire team as an extension of the client’s team. 

What is the biggest challenge you face as a GM and how do you overcome it?

Administrative tasks taking away from sales development & growth of the local branch. Well thought out time management and working the necessary hours to get them completed.

Any other insights you want to share that will help your manager peers?

Have a business plan, write it down get your team on the same page with expectations and offer support. Lean on your team of area GM’s to help with anything. Don’t be afraid to ask questions that will help improve your business. Always be growing and evaluating your current business strategies.
