What Benefits will Total Labor Support Afford You?
Executive Summaries for Primary Service Areas:Labor Productivity Consulting ServicesWorking closely with clients to improve their workforce productivity is our primary objective. All our District Managers and Field Representatives partake in on-going “Construction Labor Management” (CLM) training administered at the company’s Tradesmen Education Center in Macedonia, Ohio. The training uses a proprietary labor-oriented curriculum that combines in-depth classroom instruction with role playing and real world problem solving. The program prepares Tradesmen personnel to understand all aspects of labor management, labor issues confronting construction management and specific methods whereby Tradesmen International can solve your varied labor needs or quandaries. Each employee must successfully complete four levels of intense training to achieve certification as a Labor Productivity Consultant. Educating our people to understand your business, to help you logically determine the optimal level of fixed labor costs balanced with a variable labor cost, is what entirely differentiates Tradesmen International from pure staffing or temporary agencies. The consistent result is improved labor productivity, reduced labor costs and increased profit margins per job for small to exceptionally large construction and industrial concerns. More information on our Labor Productivity Consulting services is available through our District Managers at all our local offices. Variable Skilled Labor / Craftsmen Staffing ServicesWe support your construction labor needs through our Local Staffing Service, Traveling Industrial Workforce and our Marine-Dedicated Workforce. While timely delivery of reliable, skilled craftsmen – in all trades at all skill levels – is our core business, we are clearly not a temp agency. through our local office Enabling our craftsmen employees and those of our clients to continuously develop their craft skills and to ultimately achieve optimal career satisfaction is one of Tradesmen International’s founding goals. We remain committed to the industry – through Construction Craft Academy – to restoring high levels of craftsmanship throughout the trades; to helping the construction industry achieve higher national standards of quality, safety and productivity. This is possible through our Construction Training Program
which consists of Full Apprenticeship
Training, Journeyman Certification
Training and Skill-Specific
Training. These educational opportunities enable tenured and
aspiring construction workers to fully develop their trade skills and
to earn U.S. Department of Labor Journeyman Certification in a fraction
of the time of other programs – with better overall results. A Continuing
Education Program is then encouraged to ensure journey-level
craftsmen are always up-to-date on safety upgrades, regulatory code changes,
technology improvements and/or craft techniques that will keep them at
the top of their trade.

OSHA Compliant Safety TrainingOur Safety Division offers training to our clients and their employees. The training is performed by our National Safety Director and Safety Specialists who are OSHA trained. Specifically, we can service your safety-oriented needs with a “Client Safety Program Audit (CSPA)” and an OSHA compliant “10-Hour Construction Safety Training Course*.” The CSPA audit enables our Safety Specialists to examine your existing safety program and ultimately make any recommendations for improvement. Following the audit, recommendations are made to correct any deficiencies in OSHA compliance or to enhance the effectiveness of your Safety Program. Our audits are a proactive method used to enhance worker safety and to prevent future violations and costly fines. If no program exists, your employees are prime candidates for the 10-Hour Safety program which – via videos and personal instruction – addresses many topics ranging from “Introduction to OSHA Safety” and “Haz-Com” to “Understanding Electricity” and “Safe Lifting Techniques.” At the conclusion of the training, cards from the Department of Labor and certificates of completion are issued to those individuals completing the class. *The 10-hour Construction Safety Course is made available for Spanish speaking audiences with advance notice and if appropriate translation professionals are obtainable.
