What is the single biggest expenditure you focus on to improve OI?

Making sure all BRC’s are in so we don’t pay a penalty.

With wages growing, what do you do to yield greater bill-out rates and margins?

Make sure to build in room for a raise on the front end. At some point you are probably going to have to increase a good worker’s pay.

What is the biggest challenge you face as a GM and how do you overcome it?

Time management. I get pulled in so many different directions throughout the day, it’s hard to stay on task.

Any other insights you want to share that will help your manager peers?

Organization is huge. Keeping track of what needs to be done and then completing them as the day goes on can help make sure nothing is missed. We get pulled in so many different directions its very easy to miss things. I use my email as a to do list of things that need to be done!
