Everyone in construction needs to focus on Safety.
That’s at home, on the road, on the jobsite and always!
Whether you have a 2 mile or 22 mile drive to work, start your day right… buckle up, and make sure those driving with you do the same.
Perhaps these alarming annual U.S. road crash statistics – provided by ASIRT – will open your eyes as to why you can handle a simple click:
- Over 37,000 people die in road crashes each year
- An additional 2.35 million are injured or disabled
- Over 1,600 children under 15 years of age die each year
- Nearly 8,000 people are killed in crashes involving drivers ages 16-20
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), more than 15,000 lives are saved each year in the United States because drivers and their passengers were wearing seat belts when they were in accidents.
